get an inside look at what it’s like to follow a pre-med pathway

The journey to medicine looks different for different people. Together we will explore pre-med requirements, clinical exposure, and competencies students need for medical school, from the biology and chemistry behind how the body works to the clinical skills and problem-solving needed to care for real patients one day. Students will engage in presentations, panel discussions with current students and physicians, hands-on activities and simulation exercises to understand what it means to be a healer and to serve the healthcare needs of their communities. You’ll get an inside look at what it’s like to follow a pre-med pathway at UNC, hearing directly from students who are already on the road to medicine. Along the way, you’ll uncover the many specialties and career paths that make medicine such a dynamic and meaningful field.
